| 01 Apr - 01 Jul | Save our Seas Poster CompetitionAs part of our ongoing commitment to environmental awareness, Blue Reef is running a competition in association with local and national conservation groups to highlight the environmental issues facing our marine world. We want children to help us on our campaign and design a poster using persuasive writing to voice their own concerns about the marine environment. Entries open at the beginning of April 2010 and the closing date is 1st July 2010. |

| 04 Jul | Newquay Carnival 2010Newquay Carnival 2010 will take place on Sunday, July 4. This year sees the return of the 'American' theme. The carnival starts at Tregunnel Car Park at 7pm. | 17 Jul - 18 Jul | Newquay Surf 7's Rugby Festival 2010On 17-18th July 2010, Newquay will see a festival of rugby to rival any in Europe. The South West's biggest rugby event is returning for its third year and 2010 will be even better! The Men's Invitation will be even more intense as the top 7s teams in the country return to battle local boys the Cornish Pirates and Plymouth Albion for the title. The extended Men's open and revamped President's Cup will ensure quality Men's rugby throughout the weekend. Please note there will be no parking at the Sports Centre for the period of the event, Competitors park at Newquay Tretherras School, Spectators please follow signs and park at Waterworld / Newquay Zoo. |
