BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND Cyberstein Robot ill turn on the Christmas Lights at Newquay Zoo. Lorraine Reid Event organiser comments "It is a week later than planned but we are really looking forward it. It is a great opportunity to see the zoo grounds flood-lit with icicle lights, animal shapes, lit walkways and decorated trees and it really creates a fun magical atmosphere. Cyberstien is fantastic as he sings and talks to the crowd while moving among them. It really is quite a sight. It will be free entry from 3pm onwards and the doors close at 5pm and the zoo closes at 6pm. It promises to be a fun afternoon."

Join in the hymns and carols with Reverend Peter Long, the staff and the Newquay Male Voice Choir at 3:30pm for the annual Carol Service. Enjoy animal encounters and soak up the Christmas atmosphere. Santa will be at the zoo from noon until 5pm with special gifts available from £2.50. There will be a retiring collection with all the money raised going towards the zoo's overseas conservation projects.
