THULE Team Up with O'Neil and the BSA

The event - which is taking place this Saturday and Sunday (13th/14th October 2007) at Fistral Beach, Newquay - is Britain's most significant surfing contest. Last year more than 150 competitors battled it out to impress the judges and compete for the prestigious British Champion titles in the Open, Women's, Seniors, Masters and Veterans divisions and this year organisers are expecting the event to be even bigger.

O'Neill will be continuing with their title sponsorship of the event - providing more than 3,000 worth of prize money - and Thule will be supplying prize winners with a range of products, including carriers suitable for securely transporting surf boards and accessories to the beach on the car roof.

Peter Barker, Marketing Manager at Thule, commented, "We are delighted to be supporting the O'Neill British Open Surf Championships and BSA this year. It is great to be able to encourage development of British Surfing talent and we would like to take this opportunity to wish all the competitors the best of luck for the weekend."
