Windswept Cafe Coffee Morning

Owner Ruth Macpherson said "This is a great opportunity to come down and watch the surf and catch up with your friends over a delicious coffee and an irresistible cake. Cancer will affect all of us at some point in our lives, and sadly, having had first hand experience of Macmillan nurses, I can't think of a better way to support them. The respite and support they provide is a resource we need to keep. They are the light at the end of a very dim tunnel."

Cornwall Cakes of Bude and Plough to Plate of Liskeard will provide one of the delicious cakes to be had on the day. Sherry Boocock of Plough to Plate said "We are more than happy to support the cafe in this most important initiative". Our own chefs will be supplying delicious flapjacks and cake on the day as well.

The coffee on offer is Gold Taste Award winning Ipanaema Espresso which has been turning heads since the cafe opened in July 2006. Not only is it produced in the first farm in the world to achieve a Rainforest Alliance mark, but it tastes superb as well.

The Coffee Morning runs from 10-11.30am on Friday 29th September and all are welcome, after all, who can resist a piece of cake for a good cause?!
