Classiv VW's at RTTS in Newquay
Show 'n' Shine
Each year thousands of people head to Newquay to enjoy Run To The Sun. Multitudes of people descend on the town in Volkswagen Camper vans, Beetles and other custom cars. The mammoth event has reached its 21st birthday and there is plenty planned to make RTTS 2007 bigger than ever. Tregunnel car park in Newquay town centre hosts the Show 'n' Shine on the Sunday of Run to the Sun. The event lasts all day and attracts somewhere in the region of 25,000 people.
As usual Volksworld magazine will be organising the cruise and leading you from London straight down to sunny Newquay. Volksworld and the NASC (National Association of Street Clubs) will be judging the competition and giving away cash prizes and trophies. So make sure your VW is all polished up! The gates open at about 10am but most people start arriving from 7am just to get to the front of the queue.
