Newquay Surfers Fighting for the World Title
This Masters Competition is dedicated to surfers over the age of 35 who are bringing a wealth of experience and agility to this inaugural event. We have a very strong team of 6 - who have at least 57 British, English & European Championship titles between them, both past and present, across all the age categories of their amazing surfing careers. This does not include the many other competitions such as the Cornish & Open titles that they have also gained. We have an extremely good chance of bringing back the first World Surfing title to Britain for over 40 years!
In the meantime this event is starting to attract a lot of interest, and British Masters Surf Team PR Manager, Lesley Stone (e-mail email@example.com) is drumming up a potential sponsor for the team. If you or your company are interested in sponsoring the British Masters Surf Team get in touch with Lesley, but be quick as the sponsorship deals are running out fast!

You can see profiles & regularly updated info on all the British Masters Team members on www.smsc-surfing.com. The British Team are taking a film crew with them who will be producing footage of the team during the event and in the aftermath, as well as sports event coverage. The actual event itself will be on live web-cam on the internet, so make sure you tune in to watch all the action.
"The ISA is very proud of this event, which clearly fills a vacuum in competitive surfing. Most of the Federations members of the ISA already hold Masters National Championships in their countries. This ISA World Masters Surfing Championship will provide a clear path for those older, yet very active surfers around the world. This is going to be a historic event." said ISA President, Fernando Aguerre.
"The event will have a 7–day competition window, right in the middle of the northern hemisphere winter. The Rincon-Hangout.com will help us with the surf report in order to identify the best days to run the event, so things looks very promising and we are excited about the idea of scoring epic conditions during the contest." said Ricardo Lucke, President of the Federacion de Surfing Puerto Rico and organizer of the event.
