St Columb Minor, Newquay
The Church of St Columb Minor is dedicated to St Columba. Its prominent position looks down the lovely Rialton valley. The present church dates from the 15th century although earlier churches were situated on the site. The tower was built in the 15th century and is the second highest in Cornwall and said to be 115 feet in height.
This ancient building with much history about it, is the perfect setting for weddings and has been used for this purpose for hundreds of years. Baptisms can also be arranged by appointment. These are family occasions and we like to make you all welcome.
