Tracey Nesbitt owner and operator of Nurture Nursery (who have already raised over £600) would like to invite you to make a small donation to buy a book or books on behalf and in memory of Joe Way for the Precious Life's Appeal to increase their reading resources for children in the local area.
Nurture Day Nursery
Joe is the inspirational little boy who touched people's lives around the country and beyond. His website, www.joeway.co.uk has been set up to tell his story, raise awareness of his conditions, and to help raise money for Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal to build a children's hospice in Cornwall.
We are aiming to collect £1000 in donation for the books, and Usborne will then generously provide an additional £600 worth of free books on top of this.
All businesses supporting us will receive acknowledgement in a book of their choice by inserting a business logo by the means of a sticker or company logo/business card, along with Joe's sticker.
The local co-ordinator of this scheme for Usborne is Tracey Nesbitt, who is an Independent Usborne Schools Representative and owner of Nurture Day Nursery and Pre School. Nurture Day recently raised £530 on behalf of Joe, and hope to raise more through the book pledge.
We do hope you will take part in this scheme, which will help raise the literacy standards for many children in our community's next business generation. All books donated will be shared by Joe's parents amongst local organisations who care for children and who helped make a difference in Joe's life and continue to do so for many other children.
Please contact Tracy on 01637 839340.
