14 The Vista, Newquay - A beautiful Mews House close to Crantock and Fistral beaches.

The Vista is situated just outside the centre of Newquay on the desirable Pentire peninsula. It overlooks a beautiful coastal area with countryside views from the mews houses and Fistral Beach from the apartments. Guests also enjoy a close proximity to the stunning views from the coastal paths of Newquay. To the rear of the property is the Gannel Estuary, which is superb place for canoeing, walking, fishing, bird watching and horse riding.

The Vista is set in a new development, offering stylish accommodation finished to a very high standard in luxury. There is a video door entry system and full alarm. Gas central heating is provided, with designer high-wall radiators in all main rooms. The houses comprises two floors, with the first floor comprising of a light and airy open plan living space, affording views over the surrounding countryside.

There is one allocated parking space and a flat walkway leading to the main entrance. A part decked, part gravel area gives outside seating area for those al-fresco meal times, with a table and four chairs provided. An added benefit of No.14 is the provision of outside storage for surfboards, bodyboards, bikes etc.

Watergate Bay is close by, home to the Extreme Sports Academy and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant, while the fishing village of Padstow plus Cornwall's best attractions such as the Eden project, the National Maritime Museum and the Scilly Isles are all within easy reach.


The entrance hall has stairs leading to the first floor living space, a large cupboard with a separate washing machine and tumble dryer and doors to the bedrooms and shower room.

Stairs lead up from the entrance hall into the open plan living area. The large window provides a view across the surrounding countryside. Seating is provided a leather sofa and a large comfortable double futon. A widescreen TV, DVD player and a Freeview system provide entertainment.


An elegant dining table is provided, with six chairs. Two of these are carver chairs, further enhancing the quality feel of the living space.

The luxury kitchen consists of an island unit housing a stylish 5-burner gas hob with central wok burner set in a real granite worktop. The extractor hood extends from the work surface at the touch of a button. There is additional worktop with a stainless inset sink unit. The under cupboards which house a dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer and offer ample storage space. A double oven and pull out full height larder completes this high-spec kitchen. A full range of cutlery and crockery is provided, along with a kettle, toaster and even a selection of cookbooks! A cupboard in the kitchen hides another luxury - an integral whole-house vacuum cleaner that has outlets in each room, saving the hassle of carrying around a cleaner - just connect the hose and off you go!


The master bedroom has a double bed with side tables and lamps. There are two large wardrobes with drawers, shelves and hanging space giving lots of storage. A TV/DVD along with pictures; a mirror and chinaware to further make the room feel homely and comfortable. A patio door gives access to a wooden decked area, with an additional window for light and ventilation. The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled and has a four piece china set comprising a bath with mixer taps and shower spray, bidet, washbasin and toilet and also a heated towel rail.

The second bedroom has twin beds, a single wardrobe and two useful over bed storage cupboards. A central bedside table with lamp is provided. A wall hung tall radiator provides heat if required.

Also on the ground floor is the family shower room has a shower cubicle with a mixer shower, toilet and washbasin and is fully tiled. There is also a mirror and wall light.
