The Vista is situated just outside the centre of Newquay on the desirable Pentire peninsula. It overlooks a beautiful coastal area with countryside views from the mews houses and Fistral Beach from the apartments. Guests also enjoy a close proximity to the stunning views from the coastal paths of Newquay. To the rear of the property is the Gannel Estuary, which is superb place for canoeing, walking, fishing, bird watching and horse riding.
Number 12 is a mews house which has been designed to the highest specification with a light and open plan feel. There is a designated parking space for the house and a level walkway to the main entrance.
There is a video door entry system and full alarm. Gas central heating is provided, with designer radiators in all main rooms. The villa comprises two floors, with the first floor comprising of a light and airy open plan living space, affording views over the surrounding countryside. A part decked, part gravel area gives outside seating area for those al-fresco meals.
Watergate Bay is close by, home to the Extreme Sports Academy and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant, while the fishing village of Padstow plus Cornwall's best attractions such as the Eden project, the National Maritime Museum and the Scilly Isles are all within easy reach.
Stairs lead up from the entrance hall into the open plan living area. The ceiling extends up into the roof space and glass wall lights provide even lighting with the whole space exuding openness and elegance. The large window provides a view across the surrounding countryside.
There is a 40" flat-panel television along with a selection of games and DVDs for guests to borrow. There is also an MP3 docking station.
A stylish glass dining table is provided with four chairs. There are also two bar-stools at the island unit in the kitchen.
The luxury beech veneer kitchen consists of an island unit housing a stylish 5-burner gas hob with central wok burner set in a real granite worktop. The extractor hood extends from the work surface at the touch of a button. There is additional granite worktop with a stainless inset sink with integrated waste-disposal unit and plenty of workspace.
Integrated units include a dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer and offer ample storage space. A built in oven and combination microwave, a full range of cutlery and crockery, along with a kettle and toaster complete this high-spec kitchen. The house also has an integral whole-house vacuum cleaner that has outlets in each room.
The master bedroom has a double bed with side tables and lamps. A large eight drawer chest and built-in cupboard provides ample storage for clothes. The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled and has a four-piece set comprising a bath with mixer taps and shower spray, bidet, washbasin and toilet and also a heated towel rail. Patio doors lead from the bedroom out onto a decked area and with the large windows give the room lots of natural light.
The second bedroom has twin beds with clothes storage provided by a large cupboard in the hallway.
The fully tiled family shower room has a shower cubicle with a mixer shower, toilet and wash basin and is fully tiled. There is also a shaving mirror and wall light.
The entrance hall has stairs leading to the first floor living space, a large cupboard with a combined washer/dryer and doors to the bedrooms and shower room.
Additional sleeping is in the open plan living area which features double sofa bed for 2 further guests.
